Simon is delighted to report, “The team in Tanzania are very good at responding to health problems for those in their care. The systems in place seem robust.” He credits the leadership of James, our Village Manager, whose strong relationship with the local hospital ensures swift medical support. In addition, one of our devoted mamas is a trained nurse, and she has provided first aid training to all our staff, strengthening care across our programmes.

The Tanzanian High Commissioner joins us to walk the London Bridges
On Sunday 20 July, at 10:30 am our UK Trustees will walk the iconic London Bridges—from Tower Bridge to Battersea Bridge—raising vital funds to support Malaika Kids.
We are honoured to be joined by H.E. Mbelwa Kairuki, Tanzanian High Commissioner, who shared: “I’m delighted to be joining you. I do plan to walk with the group. It’s a wonderful initiative and I’m looking forward to being part of it.”
Our fundraising page is now live—we would be immensely grateful if you, <<First Name>>, would consider sponsoring our walk.

Every step we take helps support children in Tanzania who need care, education, and hope.
Also, we would be delighted if you would like to join us on the walk. Simply reply to this email to let me know.
With very best wishes
